The Ships Atlas enables you to:

  • Locate over 14,000 ports, harbours, terminals and marine facilities around the world
  • Identify which specific facilities are available at that port using the port symbols. e.g. types of cargo handled and dry docks
  • Gather further port statistics and information from the index, including the coordinates, maximum size vessel allowed at the facility, nearest airport, fuel and medical availability
  • Obtain further regional specific details e.g. MARPOL regulations and International Load Line Zones and Areas
  • Determine the distance to other international ports using our distance tables

New to this Edition

  • 5 New Maps – Now 75 full colour A3 maps in total
    To allow for more detailed coverage of these regions 5 new regional section maps have been added. These include the Indian Subcontinent, Southeastern China, Yellow Sea, Central America and Rio de Janeiro.
  • New Piracy Trend Analysis
    In light of increasing piracy problems facing the maritime industry two new Maritime Piracy Trend maps have been added.
  • Improved Themed Maps
    All of our world maps have been improved, whilst the following World Maps also feature the latest information available: MARPOL 73/78, Sensitive Sea Areas, Maritime Piracy Incidents, Global distribution of major diseases.
