New Product Available: FindaportCD

FindaportCD enables you to:

  • search for ports meeting specific criteria. Search by coordinates, country, name, port facilities, cargo types and drydock sizes.
  • locate over 9,000 ports, harbours, terminals and marine facilities around the world.
  • identify which specific facilities are available at that port using the port symbols,
    e.g. types of cargo handled and dry docks.
  • view the port’s summary at a glance, as well as the detailed port information listed in over 70 headings.
  • view over 5,600 port plans and 1,000 photographs, covering port layouts, approaches, berthing, moorings and equipment.
  • view Reports of Actual Conditions Experienced (ACE Reports) provided by those at the forefront of the maritime industry. Over 2,500 in total. 
  • save your favourite ports
  • print and save port information to the local PC
  • email port information (internet connection required).
  • check for more recent updates using our online service, findaport.com, which is updated daily. (internet connection required)

The Ships Atlas 14th Edition

Illustrating more shipping facilities than any other commercial shipping atlas available, the latest edition of The Ships Atlas will be available to purchase from January 2012.

Don't miss out on this latest edition which features:

  • 5 new port region maps detailing those areas which are seeing substantial development, including the Indian Subcontinent, Southeastern China, Yellow Sea and Central/South America.
  • New Piracy Trend Analysis map highlighting Piracy hotspots going back 6 years.
  • Improved themed maps with the latest information are also available in The Ships Atlas.
    These include Sensitive Sea Areas, which now show more shipping areas to be avaioded, MARPOL 73/78 now includes the American ACA, The Standard Time Zones map details the Russian amendments and Global Distribution of Major Diseases map sees the latest World Health Organisation updates being reflected.
  • The latest Shipping Routes are available, including the NE and NW passages.
  • Over 14,000 ports, harbours, terminals and marine facilities are included, 833 of them new.
  • 2,567 updates made since the last edition.
